All buildings must comply to the law, whether they are for Social Housing, Office Environment, Education and Child Care, Elderly Residential or Commercial and Industrial. There are different regulations for fire, electrical, gas and water that must be adhered to. We will help you manage all of these in a compliant, cost effective and safe manner.

Compliance is a major and essential part of any business that determines the safety of your building, employees or tenants. For companies and landlords, compliance is not optional and failure to meet requirements could result in hefty fines or jail time. Fire Safety Regulations 2003 stipulate that all buildings are subject to a Fire Risk Assessment to identify hazards and potential barriers to fast and safe evacuation if necessary. Testing and adequate maintenance of safety systems is a necessity, such as alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, escape routes, sprinklers and extinguishers. Keeping comprehensive accounts of safety systems in an accessible box with the contact details of whoever has responsibility is a legal requirement. This can all be taken care of with our Site Log Book which has full details of all the systems and doors, including detailed descriptions and locations of each item.

The other major area of compliance required by law is periodic testing. This is the testing of electrical, gas and water systems at different periodic intervals. If these are not kept up to date you are not only braking the law but you may also find that your buildings and liability insurance is at risk of becoming invalidated. This is something that we will keep records for and organise pre scheduled inspections so that all the certificates can be administered before the date it is due to expire or in the instance of housing and tenancy, the change of an occupant as is required by law. Using our fully qualified and registered tradespeople will ensure that you are always up to date and safe for your staff, residents or tenants.
